Amarillo

Amarillo has a long history of cowboy culture and is a hub for transportation. Amarillo is the only major city in Texas on Route 66, and during the 1950s when Route 66 was in its heyday, Amarillo’s population almost doubled. The city still receives many tourists embarking on the classic Route 66 road-trip. This project is aimed to showcase Amarillo’s history and culture, engaging tourists and locals alike.
